The never-ending story... I wish... : LUSENET : I Wasn't Built to Get Up at this Time : One Thread

Which TV shows do you miss? Or any books that you wish had never ended?

-- Tim (, October 05, 2000

"The Mysterious Cities Of Gold". And the 80s episodes of "Grange Hill" - the 90s (and 00s, I suppose) ones just don't cut it, and the music isn't as good either. (They actually played the old theme tune at 80s night at the university nightclub.) Oh, and "Muppet Babies". Children's TV is so pants these days.

Stuck in the 80s, me?

'Press Gang'. I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of any at the moment. What's weird is being at uni, where I have minimal access to a TV, and then coming home and trying to catch up on all the programmes I've missed. Like 'Friends'. Agh.

Geh... I hate it when I'm filling out more or less the same things for e-mail addy and name, or someot like that. I miss teh Simpsons!! I know, it is on at some point. I haven't actually figured out when since arriving in England, but my grandparents (with whom I'm living atm) have their own tv-watching habits, and I don't want to interrupt them. But I've gone from watching possibly four episodes a day to none! Withdrawal symptoms. :) I also miss "Breaker High". No, it's not really that good, but I had a thing about it for a while. It's not on anymore, though.

Anyway, there are a ton more shows I could think of that I miss, but I must be off now.

Welcome to England! We should get together and do something English.

The Simpsons is on Mondays and Fridays at 6.00pm on BBC "Used To Be Good But Now Everything Half Decent Has Been Moved To The Other Side" Two.

This has been a public announcement on behalf of Tim.
