Use for foil coffee bagsgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
(I posted this before and it went straight to the archives. Why?) Anyway, I will ask again, does anyone know of a use for the foil bags that coffee comes in? Can I use them for saving vegetable seeds, or would they have a residue from the coffee that would harm the seeds even after washing?

i would not use them for seeds, the foil would not allow air in thus mold would grow. how about storing sewing supplies or craft stuff in them?

Lela, I don't know what foil bags are that coffee comes in! Where I live, coffee comes in cans at the store, or jars (instant), or in bins where you fill up paper bags with beans (usually at the store, too). I have also seen something like coffee in pre-packaged filter bags (at hotels). I guess I live in a cave b/c I just can't think of what these are. Guess that might explain why you didn't get a response initially...maybe others are in the dark like I am. What are they? thx!
