Help point me in the right direction - Typical creative scientific persongreenspun.com : LUSENET : What keeps you up at night? : One Thread |
Similar to many posts I've seen in here, I'm a typical scientific person looking for an outlet for my creative needs. I have a degree in industrial engineering, now I'm selling 3D-design software which I think is pretty cool. I just don't feel like I'm getting any kind of recognition for my work, and I don't feel like the region of the country I'm in is very advanced in technology (at least publicly). I also would like to do something more musical. I am very musically gifted (I can learn almost any instrument). I can sing very very well. I love entertaining people. Thanks in advance for your help.Doug

DougWhy dont u use the skills/technical expertise in software/engineering and combine it with your creative passion for music?
Eg. build a new way of producing music and selling it to a large audience via an interactive web experience?
Remember, selling is everything, but sell something you believe in that you made yourself and put all you have into it.
I am a writer looking for people with technical experience to build interactive broadband fun content - combining creativity with a solid revenue model.
good luck and get in touch if you want to discuss further
