PRAISE GOD !!!!!!!!!! It's finally raining here in N.E. Texas, weve got 2 1/2 inches so far and it's still coming down. My son washed his car yesterday and he say's thats why!!!! We're all so excited and thankful!! We think it's been 90 days without rain. Anyone else around here or in drought ridden areas get any rain? Carol

Not only rain, but SNOW yesterday. Got only one inch, but that is the first moisture for months. Sure wish we had gotten this in the spring after we reseeded the pasture...oh well, at least it is something! Jan

Carol...yippeeeeee!!!!! I bet you are just elated!!

Jan, yeah, I heard that parts of Wyoming freeway (I-80 I would guess???) were actually closed down due to drifting snow, ice, and such high winds that cars were literally blowing off the freeway on the ice. Yikes. A little coolish for so early in the year I think!

So glad to hear it's raining for you guys who need it, and so glad we aren't dealing with it currently out here (6 months of it non-stop starting next month is just plenty, thank you very much!)

Yaaaaaaay Carol!!! Was soooo glad to see your post. I was thinking of you all when I was logging on and hoped I'd see the good news. Joe said you all might be gettin rain sometime today. Hope Joe has gotten some of the rain too and let's us know. (like he could contain the joy, huh?) Guess were all such loud mouths, God really heard our prayers for you all. Thank you, God.

Us too! It started raining this morning here ( about 5 ) Been raining every since. Getting ready to leave for church and found the kids had ruined my umbrella playing parasol this summer. I almost complained! But I am too grateful for wet stuff to gripe about wet hair and shoes. In fact it was just real hard not to linger and play in it all morning. God is truely good to us all!

I'm so happy for you. I am in West Texas and we didn't get but about 10 drops of rain. About 10 miles north of here got 1". Maybe it will be our turn next. Sure did turn cold though. BURRR!! Marlene

Hope it is coming down slow and steady. Even though you need it so bad, it wouldn't do for it to rain so hard that everything washes away on you. Great new though.

It's raining here too!!!!!Praise God! Yeah!!!! I don't know how much we have gotten, but it's also nice and cool and for the first time since....I don't know, but a long time, I don't even have any fans on. A bona fide miracle!

Spent most of the latter part of last week until this evening in Ohio at a blacksmithing conference. Rained Saturday and misted on Sunday. Drove home with mist most of the way. Was surprised to find my rain guage (a coffee cup on the outside picnic table) was completely full. Must have been your Texas rain coming east. Thank you for whatever was left over.

Looks like we're all getting rain. We've had enough the cracks in the yard are closed up and the doors close right again. Saw on the sattilite theres a big one brewing toward the equator, should send more our way in 7 to 10 days.

I'm in NE Texas too. Got 5 inches of rain Sunday. We had had .2 inch since June 15. The rain fell good and most of it soaked in. I'm so glad. I've been tired of rationing water and getting covered with dust each time I walk through the yard.

See.....all those prayers did help! It is cold & rainy here in Illinois today. Wonder what kind of winter we have in store for us? We really need a hard one to get the bug population down but I sure don't look forward to going thru it!

Carol, I'm so glad you all got some rain!!! It has been rather dry here in our part of Ky. too although not nearly as dry as you have been and not as dry as it was here last year. We must be getting some of your rain now. It rained off and on all weekend and today is pouring down! Hope yours continues for a while.
