Anyone alive to there tonight

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

I am sure you all missed me in the pub yesterday. I came to me in a flash of light I was the reason we lost yesterday. Since I returned to the fold of visiting the Toon. They have never been beat when I was in the crowd. Mates wedding be damned I should have gone!!

My dad wants me to go to all games, donations to the Jay Boyd NUFC pocket money fund appeal are greatly welcome.

PS after this weekend I am never drinking again! :o(

No it was Bobbys fault

Not the manager

The BBs er, He should stay in bliddy Laarden.

Then again it could be my fault, I've started wearing a Black and white shirt instead of my Lucky Away shirts.

then again it could be Screachers fault, did you cut the hedges yesterday?

Think yourself lucky Jay - I gave up supporting the Toon yesterday. However, having been admonished by Fifties Fan today, I've been sitting here pawing over the game again trying to figure out what went wrong and what we need to do to get things back on track.

I'm afraid I still don't have a clue how a group of talented players, who were top of the PL two weeks ago, can collectively play like utter tossers against Charlton Athletic - I only hope Bobby Robson can figure it out.

Glad you had a good night at 't wedding. I was as miserable as bloody sin last night - as 'er indoors can testify - but I'm on the up again. Howay the Lads!!

Couldn't believe what I was seeing when we got back from the pub Saturday night just in time to catch the 30 seconds they showed on MOTD. Spoilt what up to then had been a great day yomping round the dales.

It's a bit of a relief that a few more of you now seem to be suffering what's had my blood pressure through the roof for donkey's years. It's the utter futility of all this theorising and opinionating that's hardest to bear.

We all know what needs to be done but will they listen ? Will they bollox. Here's a novel thought - run the club by committee, 50 odd thousand strong. Watch us go places then. :-))

I daren't go into print on what I really feel - but a few of you might have some idea.
