This is an invitation to murder mystery fans to share their favorites.

I have a couple, which are rather similar. One is Rex Stout's "Plot it Yourself" (detective is Nero Wolfe). The other is "Twilight at Mac's Place" by Ross Thomas. Both involve hellsapoppin revolving around manuscripts, with very little to go on as to the why of it all.
