Answers That is the Monday we had.

My houseguest from Australia and I went to see "Space Cowboys." If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Watching all those old farts hamming it up on the big screen will put a smile on your face.

Sorry about the pre-event feelings. It sucks. If it's any consolation, I've discovered that the event itself is anti-climactic, but I'm hell to live with the week(s) leading up to it. We're about to enter hell-half-year. Thanksgiving - Christmas - Paul's birthday - David's birthday - the 2 anniversaries. May to November are pretty much times for taking deep breaths and being able to get out from under for a bit. And then it starts all over again.

While I am hard pressed to ever find anything good about Mondays, I will say that I have Olympic Fever. I LOVE the Olympics. So after a long and tiring day of work, it was wonderful to go home and veg for 5 hours watching the olympics (ok, I flipped to the Dodger game for a while during the equestrian - I loathe equestrian).

On Monday I actually managed to teach, then go tutor a autisic child, then go home and write lesson plans, then do yoga without collapsing into a useless blob on the bed. My day is usually 7a.m. to 7 p.m. nonstop-and actually had enough energy to make it through!
