Holy Cow, Spider. Really. I just found yr new bb this a.m. and it's all coming back.

"I think most of this latest oil crisis is Y2K computer bugs or their "fixes" at work. Remember, if a bug is fixed it opens up a whole new realm for errors just because someone has disturbed the original code."

My assessments permutate. Reading the oil posters reaffirms all of my original thoughts. Especially if you read down to a post by "Cindy" who thinks all the quote alarmist endquote posters are out of touch with reality.

Gas in our corner of Calif, at one cheapo station is at $1.97 per regular gal. A story inthe Sacramento BEE a day or two ago talked about the impact on smaller business that are heavy fuel dependent.

This hasn't sunk into the public head yet. And, call me a conspiracy nut, but why do I have this funny feeling that some crisis will peak just before the Nov. elections?

Wish I had been able to stockpile say 10,000 gals of gas when it was only $1.25 or so. Heard someone on the radio lately, with connections somehow to oil industry: said $3.00 per gal was coming by Oct.

Since you mention it...

I was looking at the info on the Priceline.com new gasoline section. Seems like it might be a good deal, but is it?

Anybody know? Thanks!
