Another forum...not meant to be competition for this one.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : FRL friends : One Thread

Those of us who weren't FRLIANS, and weren't really accepted into the Ed Yourdon substitution forum on EZBOARD have been spending a lot of time on the Y2k Uncensored Forum. SOME of us have even gone on to include ourselves in Stephen Poole's forum, which has suffered major software failures of late.

It's no secret to anyone that the Uncensored Forum has been reduced in content of late. Well, okay...it's been reduced in content BEFORE "of late", but it's REALLY been reduced OF LATE.

I started an EXTRIEVE forum after folks I'd liked had been banned from Yourdon's EZTRIEVE forum, and just today I started another forum under the People Are People Community that I started. I've about had it up to HERE [as she points to the forehead] of the posts regarding pollies and doomers. I could give a flying frito whether CPR has received death threats.

I've deleted my references to the Uncensored Forum and deleted my references to Ed Yourdon's EZBOARD. IMO, both fora are not up my alley. If any of you want to discuss something outside of FRLIAN stuff, and outside of Y2k, you may want to jaunt over to General Discussions. Nobody will be banned. I'm the only administrator of the forum, and I'll only delete stuff that is so weird that my kids would say, "What trash!". Their standards are actually HIGHER than mine [for some unknown reason], but I think you get my point.

I think it's high time that the pollies and doomers who met during the Y2k debate get together on a forum that accepts both [within reason].

I've already deleted Uncensored and Yourdon's EZBOARD forum from my favorites, and I RARELY come here, so join in the fun if you so desire.

Best of luck with it Anita! I added it to my bookmarks and started up a new account for it. EZboard drives me nuts with the "global" and "local" accounts. There are three people in my house who use it, and I'm never who I want to be where I want to be it when I log on there. (See?..confusing!) But, I started a Global account for myself so hopefully I can just be one person! (which still won't be me, since someone else was already me...darn!) :-0 !

(PS - yOu should RARELY stop in a little more often!!)
