TP Chronicles September 15, 2000 Update and Noteworthy News Clips

Greetings!

As usual, I hope all is well with you, and that you continue to enjoy running water and electricity.

Now, if indeed youve had problems of late (Y2k related or not--[grin]) you may wish to thank God that you dont live in a hot southern European country that routinely cuts all power for several hours in the afternoon, during the siesta period. (Then again, if you like siestas, you may be wishing you lived in such a hot southern European country.)

Personally, Im glad I live in America, where I have the privilege of washing dirty laundry at any old hour of the day.

Which leads me to one of the current noteworthy articles mentioned in the inaugural edition of the TP Chronicles Clip Report. (This post mentions headlines only. The articles themselves can be freely accessed on the forum below.

Contained in the September 15, 2000 edition of the TP Chronicles Clip Report :

From The New Orleans Times-Picayune: MESSY, LIKE ME A CLUTTER ADDICT COMES OUT OF THE CLOSET AND SEEKS HELP FROM A CONVERTED 'CLEANIE'

For those who may still need a little help organizing post Y2k clutter, or clutter in general, Sandra Felton is terrific. I bought one of her books several years ago. (Now if I could only FIND it! Just kidding.) Her anti-clutter tips have helped me--and many, many others.

Other articles included in this inaugural report include:

From the National Journal: COVERT COUNTER ATTACK

From Business Week: THE SECRETS & LIES OF CYBER-SECURITY

From The Plain Dealer Cleveland, OH: CLUMSY COMPUTER COSTING COUNTY MILLIONS

Los Angeles Times THE CUTTING EDGE: FOCUS ON TECHNOLOGY

I have purchased each of these articles and they are my gift to you with the following caveat: You are not supposed to sell them to anyone. I know copyright law is full of vagaries, but that much I know.

I hope you enjoy them. There will be more forthcoming. Let me know (please post here if possible, since I will automatically receive your email) if theres a particular topic that interests you, that youd like to see included in future clip reports.

As part of my line of work, I have access to many articles from many obscure and niche publications that do not routinely appear on the Web.

With regard to the book, work is progressing, and Im not supposed to say much more than that at this point.

God bless you all.

:)
