Gosh Al - after your entry, any family oddity is surely going to be vanilla plus.

Other than remembering the oddity that is me I can really remember only one thing. Heather, amid child raising and always being on the go was fretting about the trunk of the car needing to be cleaned out. One Saturday morning, her schedule full, she ranted at oldest son that he had to clean out the trunk of the car. She then hopped into the car and was gone most of the day. What really was odd and hilarious, on her return from town, she hopped out of the car and proceeded to give oldest son "what for' for not cleaning out the trunk of the car. After our jaws dropped we all broke out laughing and finally it dawned on her that son didn't have a chance.
