What kind of partnerships should Country Gateways build?

There are many types of partnerships:

1. Content 2. Funding 3. Technology 4. Marketing/PR 5. Business development 6. Other

Content and funding partnerships are top priorities. Soon we will be able to sign content partnerships agreements with local content partners on particular community pages (topics, subnational, user groups). They will take full responsibility for development of these pages which eventually could turn into sub-portals with a lot of functionalities.

We also may need to sign funding partnerships agreements with funding partners, distribution partnerships agreements, technology partnerships agreements, business development partnerships agreements.

These agreements can be bilateral (between CGO and local partner) or multilateral (between CGO and partners of the same type). They can have a form of an MOU or a legal agreement (contract).

There could also be a multilateral partnership agreement in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding, Contract or a Charter, which would include all partners.

These partnership agreements will be developed jointly by the local and global Gateway teams in the coming months.
