Country Gateways could offer a number of on-line and off-line services including: Information services (news, weather, directories, maps, market information, etc.); Communication services (forums, chat rooms, shared file libraries, polls, etc.); Knowledge services (sectoral databases, e.g. legal, project/donor, statistics, company); Transaction services (e-commerce, e-government, e-banking); Training services (on-line courses, presentations, multimedia resources); Hosting and customization services (home-pages, work spaces and virtual offices of Gateway clients); Workshops, seminars and publications. Consulting services (e.g, e-business plans preparation) Connectivity services (Internet kiosks, dialup access etc)
