What is the role of the national governments in the Country Gateways?

Answers

Government is one of the primary partners for the successful realization of the CGs. To receive InfoDev grants CG teams have to get official approval and support of the World Bank's counterpart government agency (typically Ministry of Finance or Economy). Government is one of the major stakeholders and long-term beneficiaries from the project, as the CGs strive to promote economic development and poverty alleviation. Government is also one of the significant content providers for the CGs, where there will have a Government section.
