I thought this might be of some intrest to everyone. Go to www.pdnonline.com/photoplusexpo/ to recieve a free pass to the Photo Expo East 2000 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC. It is mostly business related but it might be worth checking out. If you register for a pass before october 20th, it's free. The expo takes place November 2-4. There is going to be a bunch of workshops and seminars. Plus there is going to be over 250 exhibitors and manufacturers showing off their new toys. It might just be worth a trip to the city. I'm sure the website will be of help if you have any questions. Enjoy

I did it last year. Had a great time and picked up some useful information. I may do it again.

Definitely recommend it! Been going for the most part since Photo '85 (1985) at the old Colleseum. Every vendor related to photography will be there. You can learn about new products, get discounts on books and periodical subscriptions. And lots of free info! And if you can, check out the seminar listings. You may find one you like and want to attend it. I've been to digital imaging, wedding, and portrait lighting seminars and they were very informative. I will be there in the fall!

I'll be there as always, and will be at the PDN booth on Thursday afternoon, probably for the last hour or two of the show that day, so if you're there, please drop by and say hi.
