Hi! ALl of us are aware of the heartbreak Chandu must have undergone when his earlier venture didn't take off, mainly because the response from among us was poor. Here's wishing better communication between all of us.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes I did wish that we could atleast talk (write) to each other through this media. What is new at JIPMER and Pondy? I am planning to see you all in December this year. Hope you will be around! I am extremely sorry I could not make it in August. I saw them pictures and I felt even worse. GNRamesh was the only one I could not recognise at a glance. I had to work it out.

Probably I'm in the same boat to you all.

keep writing in.

chandu

The last I communicated with Suresh Mennon was more than a year ago. He was at Apollo and then went to ?Cochin and now I hear he is in Nepal. He has done well hasn't he?

What about your plans in December? You know that our juniors are having their get-to-gether? May we can join them? May be not!!

What do you say Gautam? I hope you will be around in Dec.

Hi Chandu, Hitch-hiking on our juniors 25th Year Meet is a good idea - many batches have their meetings that way, but ofcourse the Silver Jubilee batch gets the honours. Remember - it is always held on the First Sunday of the Year. By all indications we - Hemavathy, Sahoo, Parkash Chand, Jegadeeshwaran & I should be here in December this year. But bear in mind that 14 December - 17 January is the vacation time for us. Hope to meet you soon. Keep in touch - Gautam.

Gautam, Vacation time is, all the more, better. Unless ofcourse some of you decide to go out on holiday.

When you say 1st Sunday of the year( or is it month?), it falls on 1st,in December 2002. Is the alumni meet being held on 1st Dec 2002 then? That makes it dodgy. The schools don't close until 13th Dec here.

Very, very sorry about the slip - it should be `the first Sunday of August every year' and not as mentioned in my hurry. I can imagine youe consternation trying to put things together and always coming up naught. So remember - the JIPMER Alumni Association meets every year on the FIRST SUNDAY OF AUGUST every year.
