I am back

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Aeon Flux : One Thread

You see, you turn your back on the brew vat for a moment, and look at the scum that forms on the surface. I'm gone for a few days, and what do I find when I get back? Wasted bandwith courtesy of Jimbo Wang. You know, you used to be better at this game, you know, getting people to talk to you, and then insulting them. That's brilliant. I bet that comes after lighting farts, but before cow tipping on your list of entertainment. What a fucking waste of other people's time. Actually, after I saw the latest batch of nonsense, I considering letting it go for awhile, to see what happens, but then I thought "Who gives a damn?" Anything that would come of it would be just another waste of time.

Well, that's out of the way. I would get UBB, but first off, LuseNet is just fine. And it costs nothing. No sense in spending a small fortune for something that would have minor improvements. I've just been away for a couple of days. I usually get time to go over things once a day though.

Foo@bar, I've seen your posts before, in our dreams.

Like I said, he used to be better at this game.

You sound nostalgic, old friend

Chaos, why don't you tell us where this guy comes from?

-- Paul (gilbreathfamily@worldnet.att.net), September 07, 2000.

Wait a minute, you mean Chaos knows who this is?

EZBoard is comparable to the UBB and it's a free service. But yeah, this is perfectly fine (although a splitting of the existing threads into two or three pages might be in order).

Or you could just split the existing paragraphs into one column without the offensive posts. The expression 'read between the lines' is made to order, and my cookies never tasted so good with coffee.

One legged men and head kicking girl scouts and holographic memory modules, oh my, (is this where the witch comes in and tries to destroy my little dog too)? Pretty creative writing. I'm impressed. Wry humor. Good use of it too.
