Handgun Safety and Registration Act of 2000 (Introduced in the Senate)

It is strange how the bill will be written into the 1986 IRS code. This does not necessarily need to be but to a vote by the full senate, just the committe. And failure to comply you could face a $x0,000 and jail term for tax evasion.

Where does the safety issue come into play? Nothing in the bill's text states how this will promote safety.

Write your senators including the ones on the committee of finance. Stating that we will not tolerate an end run around a full hose and senate vote. This is a serious errosion of the bill of rights. =======

Hundreds of armed police were sent in on August 19, the officials said.
[Armed with what? Certainly not sticks and clubs.]
Is this where you want to be headed? If not this maybe your last chance.
