Water Main Break Caused By Boulder Crews reported that a boulder caused a 14-inch water main to break in Centerville yesterday morning. It apparently put too much pressure on the pipe. The main delivered water to the city from a reservoir and was only about 20-years-old. Public Works director Randy Randall says there was no major damage to any nearby houses, just a couple of flooded yards and a basement. It will take a few more days to fix the hole in Main Street.
