Natural Gas May Rise As Much As 50 Percent (Indianapolis, IN) -- Residential natural gas customers could see their bills increase as much as 50 percent this winter heating season. Several natural gas companies made presentations before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission yesterday. They said natural gas prices are rising because of growing demand. Those figures were based on the assumption that the winter will be normal compared to the warmer-than-normal winter last year.
