Web site outage correctedStaff Writer AMES--The Internet site of The Tribune's news pages, www.amestrib.com, has been out since last week. An unknown network error caused the problem. As a result, Tribune editors were unable to updates to stories starting August 22.
The Tribune's sports site, www.gocyclones.com, was not affected.
The Tribune regrets the problem and appreciates its readers' patience.
