I am trying to track down obscure songs that Michael Stipe has sung with other bands like the Golden palominos and Syd Straw, but I am having a hard time finding them. The most recent one I found was one that was played on the radio in the early 90s "Future 40's".

Any suggestions?

if nothing else, can anyone tell me the some of the songs he sang with the palominos?

Stipe has sung the song called "Alive and Living Now" with Golden Palominos.

i ADORE that song "alive & living now"...the chorus is beautiful...that song "future 40s" isnt all that great...theres one,i think its called "guilty by association",thats great too.try old record stores or bootleg shops...ur bound to come accross a few tapes.

Mr. Stipe has also done a song called "Almond Kisses" with the great British band Spacehog. It can be found on Spacehog's album "The Chinese Album." Really cool band, even besides the Stipe song, I would highly recommend it. :)

Ok you can get alot of Stipes songs sung with Vic chestnut, kristin hersh, arnie ross, 10,000 maniacs, nenah cherry and so forth on his solo album called michael stipe non field recordings, he also sings 4 songs with the golden palominos they go accordingly, alive and living now, boy(go), clustering train and omaha
