The book is available in a revised paperback edition at www.dk.com. You have to order it on their international (UK) bookstore, it's priced in pounds. If you cant find it let me know and I can get more info for you.

This might help: the ISBN is 0 7513 042603. You can order over the phone at 1-877-884-1600 or you can email at email@dk.com. Hope this helps.

Gordon, a copy of that book just sold yesterday at ebay. If your not in a hurry, ebay has a watch list that will tell you if it is listed. His books come up at ebay fairly regular. Searches using the authors name seem to be the most effective.

If you are in more of a hurry, go to www.abe.com the american book exchange. very helpful place. I have purchased several books through their site. They also have a watchlist. Watchlist may not be the exact term used at either place, just keep your eyes open.

Just did a quick look at abe. Lots of stuff under john seymour besides what you want. Lot's of books by him I never heard of. A lot of the book sellers had British addresses. Good Luck!

Also try the used book sellers listed in Countryside classified ads. John and Sally Seymour lived in England. Thus, some of their writings may not apply in the U.S.

If I remember correctly, I tried Amazon to find that book. They found it for me eventually, and offered it to me for a mere $50. No thanks! Good luck to you! Maybe you can read it, and then sell it for $49.99!

thank you very much for the help.

I had the same experience as Sheepish, then looked on Bibliofind and bought my copy (hardback in excellent condition) for $12.95 plus shipping. Bibliofind is definitely worth a look! (It's a great book!)

I agree - - Try Bibliofind.com Or Alibris.com Both are sites where used booksellers list their inventory. I can spend hours and hours at a time rummaging through their "bookshelves".

You might want to check out http://www.respond.com I have used them in the past with sucess. You can state how much you are willing to spend, hard-back or soft, etc., and they will e-mail you when they have found what you are looking for.
