Whirpool, manufacturer American of
electric household appliances, partially blamed the software package of management
integrated R/3 of SAP for the
delays of delivery of its apparatuses into
the United States. The startup of R/3 at
the beginning of September, on bottom of
sales record, did not make it possible
to the manufacturer to deliver all his
orders. The United States is the sixth country
where Whirlpool installs the software
package, and according to a spokesman of
the company, similar delays occurred with
each deployment. Whirlpool affirms
that the majority of the problems was
already regulated. The company thinks of
eliminating any delay from here December.
