Scotland: Exam system fails again on paperwork

THE exams process was further discredited
yesterday as it emerged that some schools
have been waiting two months for paperwork
on courses in a new type of sixth-year
qualification.

Meanwhile, the lack of confidence in the SQA
was highlighted by a poll for a Sunday
newspaper revealing that more than three
quarters of Scotland's headteachers are
unhappy with the marking of this year's
exams.
