I have panasonic mpeg encoder 2.5 im trying to convert my avi file to mpeg1. the problem im having is that it doesnt convert the whole AVI file when its almost at the end of the file i get this message.

"Can not get a frame data from a material file Encoding Aborted".

does anyone know why im getting this. Im trying to convert a 1.2 Gig avi file.

Yes I have had that also and if it occurs at the same place twice then the only option is to re due the avi - its a pain when it happens and I for sure do not no the reason. The encoder should handle 2G OK if the avi does not have any rendering or capture faults introduced.
