It's my bag...

So what's in your bag? Or on your desk, or on your hard drive, or whatever.

My bag is a new desk which holds all the electronic gear I use and the little geegaws one needs to use when on the web. My big bag is a freshly painted room, with all the furniture rearranged. My big freshly painted, reorganized bag contains a recreation center to my side, which now is reorganized to hold reference books and files. Right now if I want to find something it is through a huge flailing, flapping brain scan -- there is no chance to do the, "remember where you saw it last." My baby girl and her husband visiting here decided dad needed a remake and then whap! They did it. No longer am I hunched in an uncomfortable chair, looking at an odd angle at the screen, using a keyboard on an unsuitable table. I am hugely happy, and oh how I love them both. (This, coming from a rusty, crusty, 79 year old man)

Meghan...you're weird. I just thought I'd say that first. But weird in a good way.

I'll just tell you what's on my desk since this is kind of a weird-ish question. I've got a 20 oz. bottle of Coke, almost finished, a burning cigarette in my ashtray, the book from the library that I'm reading, packaging tape, assorted music CDs, an empty Moonpie wrapper (lunch), a pair of Travis' socks that need to be mended (yes, they're clean, damnit), a roll of film, paper, pens, pencils, paintbrushes, paint palletes, two little salt dough 'sculptures' that Claire made for me and some junk mail that really needs to be thrown away.

My life is all about clutter...but it's happy clutter and I have complete control over it. Honest.
