Heya all!!! I am planning to go to America for my next holydays and i'm gonna go to Athens for a some days...but how do i have to do to know when R.E.M. will be there? thanx! ;)

Yeah, well dig this, I live in Dublin and I caught a glimpse of Mike in a music shop, at first I didn't think it was him but when I finally plucked up the currage to ask whether I knew him. He smiled and said that I might, I asked how the album was going and he said it was going great and that he had to get a break so he could come to the music shop to get a replacement jack/input socket for one of his basses! He looked pretty tired, but he seemed really cool about me talking to him. I am so lucky!!! The whole thing seemed so simple though, it was so ordinary in an amazing way. He's a cool guy!

jeez,suzanne,why didnt u just ask!!!! u can stay with me!!im still prowling round Dalkey and the clubs in Dublin seemingly michael likes to get down at some of the pubs in templebar.....i KNEW being stuck in this country had to pay off at SOME point...i mean if i cant go to REM..then REM come to me...they did it just 4 me... Hey ms stipe I know the name of the shop on Exchequer st it's called the guitar workshop. I also know that to come to a country to do a gig that you need a work permet, know I know that they're not doing a gig but you might get some joy from the merican embassy as they might keep tabs on the people coming in and out of the country. It's worth a shot and I live pretty near the American embassy so u could drop in in me
