I have created a couple of VCDs in Adaptec 4.0 and have only been sucessful in viewing one. All other VCDs come out black and white with the video looking like a filmstrip projector. My mpeg have been recognized by the software and playback fine. The DVD player I am using is Philips DVD711. Any Suggestions?

Answers

Sounds like you are trying to playback pal in a ntsc or viseversa. Your DVD player has to support the conversion, or you need a multi- signal tv.

There is nothig to do but re-encode the pal into ntsc, or get a diffrent DVD player.
