If I save rain water to water the garden, can I use rain water to cook with and to drink?

Hi,I expect it would be okay if you did a bit of filtering. The following link is a neat solution to *expensive* water purification.

I've done a bit of business with these folks and they are very willing to help.
Hope this helps.

Why not collect some (as clean as possible) and send it through your county extension office to be tested just like they do for well water?
