This is one of my favorite of my photos, and I am curious what everyone else thinks of it. The shallow depth of field and soft focus are both intended effects. Thank you.

Mike, I find your image and the moment you have captured to be quiet, and wonderful. I don't mind missing the top of her head, but I do feel that there is too much foreground arm. I may have overdone the crop a little, but take a look at this attempt.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the input, john. I do agree that I got way too much arm in the shot. I think, if I had to do it over again, I would have used a 135mm lens to get less of an enlargement of the arm.

Your crop is interesting, and I think it is a bit better, but there is still the problem that the arm seems a bit cut off. Of course, it is either that or have it like the original where it is a big distraction. To bad that there is no way that I can go back and retake this photo. :P

Great image

I agree again with the first two comment. Your image is very atmospheric, I think the crop should be even tighter to remove the triangle created by the sheet and the arm.

The far away look is gorgeous and the essence of the picture. You do not actually need the bottom half of you image since it is implied in the little bit of white sheet and the direction of your models gaze.

Wish I'd taken it... Nice one
