AURORA & PERSEIDS (Aug 12): Northern Lights have been
spotted throughout Canada and across much of the United
States as far south as latitude 37 degrees (Bishop, CA). At the
same time, the Perseid meteor shower produced more than 90
shooting stars per hour from very dark-sky observing sites.
