A SCHOOL GIRL was given a Higher
pass certificate for a maths exam she
didn't even sit. But there were
no results for exams Kirsty Anderson did sit in
Higher drama and biology. Last night,
Kirsty 16, told how she was faced with "a
jumbled up mess" when she opened up
the envelope which contained her
results. She had sat her Higher
Still maths intermediate 2 course. But her
certificate gave her a C pass in
intermediate 1, even though she hadn't sat it.

Thousands were left without certificates
on Thursday and 1400 others only
received partial results.
