Shawn! What's you're e-mail address? (a hopeful rumination on TP, PMK and People...)greenspun.com : LUSENET : People Photography : One Thread |
Shawn, I e-mailed you for the specs on how you develop Tech Pan in PMK and got no reply. Which is the valid address for you, shawngibson_prophoto@yahoo.com or the seeinsideforever@yahoo.com? I'm really interested in this combo and would like to get your times & temps for a starting point, thanks.

Sorry Bill. OK.TECHPAN EI: rated at EI16
PMK dilution: 1(a):2(B):100(water) agitation: 2 seconds every 15 seconds (I agitate according to Kodak's Technidol specs., up and down etc.) time: approx. 9 minutes for regular scene temp: 75 degrees
I also use only a water stop bath, and an alkaline fixer. Then the afterbath for 2 minutes. Then wash for 30 minutes.
Hope this is helpful Bill.
Any other comments on this combo would be interesting...?
This is a GREAT "People" film. I have never seen an emulsion which renders skin tones in such a uniquely-beautiful way right out of the box, unfiltered, no steroids, nothing...

By the way, the numbers I give for TP/PMK are not EXACTLY what I do on a constant basis. I LOVE experimenting. The info I give here and anywhere else is what almost always gets a good neg under a number of conditions. CAVEAT: you may need to dial in a little...but...well duh!
