Hi Debbie, I posted a response on where to find Mtge Lifters on the freezing Green Tomato thread. I live in East Tenn. which makes us neighbors and have had good luck with the mortgage lifters in this area.

Hi. You can buy Mortgage Lifter at www.heirloomtomatos.net plus about a zillion other heirloom tomato seeds. I bought some and was very pleased with the quality.

I raise @ 12 varieties of heirlooms each year, and Mortgage Lifter is not one of my favorites, but a good tomato, nonetheless. Widely available, and I believe I may even have some seed. Tomato seed, if properly stored, is good for 5 years, and I have grown plants from seed that is 12 years old, although the germination rate is substantially lower. e-mail direct, and I will give you a myriad of sources, and seed too, if I have anything you want. GL!

Well, Brad we agree on something at least. I grew Mortgage Lifter and was totally unhappy with the results. Quit planting it altogether.
