I don't know why this forum cut my period and end quotation off, but I think I included it.

Anyway that is my thought for today and I picked it up at:

A very good way to look at our fellow humans.

I don't know why this forum cut my period and end quotation off, but I think I included it.

IE 4.5 for the Mac has a tendency to cut posts off, but based on your name, I'd guess that you aren't using IE. Perhaps Netscape 6 has a similar problem.

Very good. Now all you have to do is get Al-d and the Bible-thumpers to understand that.

-- (not black @ and. white), August 08, 2000.

Thanks Oxy and hmm. I used to see posts by someone named "Z" and wondered if he was simply missing some of his letters when he cut and pasted. This doesn't make sense though because I post at several other Lusenet forums and this hasn't happened before. I guess if this post messes up I'll know it is this particular forum and I won't worry about it.

"not black and white"

I agree there are "Bible thumpers" that are way off base and there are secular people who are way off base. We all need to be more tolerant because words have almost as much impact as a slap in the face.

I totally agree with this netscape. You should join us more often. We have discussions like this regularly, and there are a core of folks here who are in line with what you have posted.

I posted a response similar to this in a thread last week, in talking to Lars: that we are vibrating at different levels, but not in a vertical hierarchy. We find what is true for us at the level we vibrate.

-- FutureShock (gray@matter.think), August 08, 2000.

How do you do, FutureShock. I only have enough time to post to two other favorite forums today, but I'd like to discuss this with you in further detail tomorrow or the next day. I'd like to discuss it because I've learned something amazing in the last year and I'd like to see if it approximates with other people's perspectives.

See you then if you're still around!

FS, I do not vibrate! I do not own a vibrator! I hum a little hummm, like Pooh Bear.

-- Lars (lars@indy.net), August 08, 2000.

FS, I cant believe it! Im vibrating right this minute.oh, wait sheeshsorry, it was just my pager:>).

-- Ra (tion@l.1), August 08, 2000.

Ra, strap your pager at the right location and it can be very pleasant.

-- Lars (lars@indy.net), August 08, 2000.

Okay you two guys-knock it off. LOL.

Netscape. I have been sentenced to this forum for the duration of my natural life, so whatever you would like to discuss, I will be here. And I would love to hear what you have learned.

-- FutureShock (gray@matter.think), August 08, 2000.

Hi Netsc@pe; welcome to the forum!

Your thought/quote was alluring to me at first. But I became uncomfortable with the thought of it appearing to relieve folks of personal responsibility for their acts (through the eyes of God, anyway). Perhaps I'm reading too much into this, though; would you elaborate?

FS...yes -- I felt the vibrations as well. They happened to come about ten minutes after my bowl of Wheat Chex, Grape Nuts and Raisin Bran this morning. But I'm sure that was just a coincidence.

-- eve (eve_rebekah@yahoo.com), August 08, 2000.

Sorry about pushing the vibration thing a little too far, FS. If we hadn't cross-posted, I don't think I would have put up my comment on it.

Well...on reflection, I guess I still would have been really tempted, though. But, sorta in keeping with the philosophical topic, I wouldn't have been personally responsible if I'd said it. You see, I would have found a way to blame it on Lilith.

If we are all sinners, then God does not see any of us at all. If God's grace is given to us freely, then he does not pass judgement against any soul. Therefore, the church doors can close permanently and let's all go have a beer.

-- Archiver (Archiver@archiverrr.xcom), August 08, 2000.

So Ive heard Lars, so Ive heard:>).

-- Ra (tion@l.1), August 08, 2000.

Position you beeper where it suits you. Publish your number here. At exactly 5:00 PM Pacific Time, LadyLogic will beep yer brains out.

-- Lars (larsd@indy.net), August 08, 2000.

Hi, Netscape. The guy two cubicles over from mine wears a beeper near each knee in special strap-on pockets that his wife made for him. He claims that the subsequent vibes allow him to postpone knee surgery.

ARCHIVER,---we sure must be UNDER-GRACE=[at jesus expense]if we we,re under =old-testament rules-we,d all have been stoned to death by now!! THE LAW NEVER CHANGES HEART,S---ONLY LOVE CAN!!

-- al-d. (dogs@zianet.com), August 08, 2000.

hmmm:

IE 4.5 also tends to totally lock-up a Mac. IE 4.0 and 5.0 both work as does Netscape 5. I have been able to lose closing characters with any of these. Seems to be random. NS6.0: It is "Z". Steve Case{or his minions} named me.

Best wishes,,,,
