Passengers OK After Emergency Landing An American Airlines plane headed for San Francisco was forced to make an emergency landing in Salt Lake City yesterday afternoon. The plane's crew reported they were having trouble with the flaps and were able to quickly make a landing without using the flaps. They did blow out a tire during the landing but no passengers were injured.
