Gas line explosion a mystery

West Coast Energy is still trying to figure out why a natural gas pipeline exploded early this morning, near a highway in BC's interior. The blast shattered windshields on a few nearby vehicles, and the highway was closed for several hours. It could be a few days before the line is repaired, but there won't be any loss of service to the company's customers because there's a parallel line.
