Help with making karaoke VCD's

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I just bought an Apex DVD player with the ability to play karaoke VCD's. I don't know where to find them so I would like to make my own, but I'm not very computer literate. I have an HP CD writer with Adaptec EZ CD creator. Like I said I'm not too great with computers so I need step by step instructions. I'd be very appreciative of any information. Thanks for your help.

Janessa,

I'm sorry to say, but creation of karaoke VCD's is not anywhere near a process that can be detailed out. Not even VideoPack 4, one of the best VCD creation packages out there, can make karaoke VCD's. So you are probably better off finding a good place on the net to buy karaoke vcd. I'm not sure where that would be either.

If anyone knows better, please correct me.

You can easily make vcd with out graphics by download cdg formats from a lot of the download sites, then using cdg2vcd it's very simple cdg's have 2 files 1 mp3 and 1 cdg, using cdg2vcd you click on the cdg and in no time you have a vcd
