HE jail blasted by inspectors for being too
soft released a prisoner by mistake yesterday.

Police launched a full-scale manhunt after
the private Bowhouse Prison in Kilmarnock
let James Walker Montgomery, 33, walk out.

He was on remand charged with perverting the
course of justice.
