Is it bullish or bearish when crude stocks fall 9 million barrels in one week?

Its bullish if true but it could also reflect some early stockpiling by majors preparing to crack for heating oil and keep up with the gasoline demand.

It could also be an aberration. The reporter is hyping. Where was she when crude fell $5./bbl in the last 3 weeks??

The Ceeper is giving good advice and pretty astute as to why there was indeed a short fall. Winter is coming on, and the refineries have to make "hay" while the sun shines. It is Natural Gas which will be our greatest concern in Jauary I am afaird.

Since I live in the middle of the Permanin (sp) and there are two nat gas refineries just with-in a few miles of me (one of them I helped automate; using Honey well equipment)! I think I know the reason why I see them Texaco etc drilling wells like there was no tomorrow...And why there is/has been new sensors and such installed(again).

And old buddy! Since you have rubber heels on those shoes you are wearing! Why don't you bounce over here and KISS MY A$$!

Probably Fortran II, II, and IV, several variants of Basic, and maybe Autocoder or SPS. Throw in COBOL and that about makes 8.

Psssssst, hey Wonderin... Creep got fired because his employer was getting complaints from customers.

It seems that he started to believe every single client was a doomer that was out to get him. If they disagreed with him on even the smallest detail, he thought they were trying to destroy his delusional belief system. Then he would go off on a psychotic, maniacal rant, foaming at the mouth and throwing things around. Not good for business, of course.

Now he can't even leave his house without risking being arrested and taken to the institution for the criminally insane. Y2K did have its victims, but they are the pollys rather than the doomers.
