Great to hear from you!! Hmm, what a thoughtful gift from Terri. Yuck, what a nasty business your stinky dog must cause. Nobody's perfect, I guess...even a dobie. However, you never know...maybe the smell keeps predators at bay! lol. And be glad your dog can't be a lobbyist...

I wonder what would happen if you got a shyringe of hot sauce and "dosed" a few, discretely marked eggs (so you didn't use them)? Just a thought.

Shaun, there are ways to "treat" a gun shy dog, but your dog may have too many problems for the "treatment" to be anything but torture. Rescue dogs will frequently eat poop, and there are a lot of theories on why-probably the most likely is that the dog acquired the habit while starving and doing what it took to survive. I knew some people who had rescue dogs and one ate NOTHING but the other dogs' poop. They tried everything, spent a lot of money they couldn't afford at the vet's, nothing helped. So they coped by feeding the daylights out of their other dogs so the other dogs' poop would be the highest quality possible for the poop-eater. Did anything seem to trigger her poop eating? Like did this get started when you were trying to get her hunting? You may not be able to get her to stop. All I can recomend is lots of love, and maybe see if you can get some chlorophyll tablets in her. I know exactlly what she smells like, you have my sympathy. Gerbil
