Those flaggers are morons. They dont know what the hell is going on. They are all from 5-13 Half of them are sitting there looking for there parents to get them some game-boy batteries. The other half are laying down stairen at the sky. The rest get bored and wave the flag for retardid entertainment when nobody has even fallin. I entered a N.E.M.A. race for fun and went of that little double/whoop thing and i didnt know what was going on on the other side the flagger was to busy talking to his girlfreind in the bleechers then when i landed i hit a 5-10 bike pile up. Finally people in the stands yelled at the kid and he did his job. That just shoes you those punks are gettin $45. for doing jack. The track or organization should provide "Grown up" flaggers.

i know all about how the flaggers are! lol... a few weeks ago at jolly i cleared the big table top... but a flagger hit me in the shoulder with the flag and made me endo down the landing. Isn't the point of a flagger to prevent injuries and not cause them?

Hey guys, take it easy on the flaggers, would you please. Would you stand in one corner from nine in the morning until eight at night for less than a hundred bucks? OK, maybe their day isn't that long, but it's close. Besides being a lot of hours it's on the dangerous side, ever see a 30+ C rider with a stuck throttle almost take out a 15 year old flagger? I have. Most of the kids out there are trying to do a good job.

Im a racer and a flagger at the majority of the Central Village races. I can see were both sides are coming from I too find the flaggers at Southwick a annoynce and need to be taught how to actually flag, at Central Village they will actually everytime you sign up to flag ask you if you know how to flag. And if you don't they will show you a little paper and make you sign a form saying you've read it, in it, it says if a rider is down on the inside of a corner point to the outside to get riders to take the outside, weither or not they do it is up to them. When riding and I come down a straight a way and see a flag out I look into that corner to see First if there is a rider down, and then Second what line I will need to take if there is actaully a rider down. This I think everyone should be doing and being a flagger I can tell you that I see many riders not even look up and take notice of a flag. At Southwick I have actually taught myself almost to ignore the flaggers, while this is very wrong I have heard of many riders who do this. But as for this being solved with "grown up" flaggers, realitically will not happen. I am 19 years old and feel I do a good job at flagging, I have found that these potenial "grown up" flaggers are racing, working on there child's bike, giving support, and holding out our pit boards for us. If we want better flaggers we need to take the time and lend a hand to the tracks.

I agree I block out flaggers or atleast take them as possibly lagit. (But why pick on 30+c riders?) Also one kid over near the 2nd woods( Southwick) up hill area pushed my bike all the way back to the pits. He was a big help because I was drianed and my bike would not start. I tipped him at the end of day but he didn't want it.

Unfortunately, this in another example of the delinquent management of this organization. How can the N.E.S.C. allow minors to flag. This position could result in injury or death, and by allowing children to flag would implicate the N.E.S.C. and each board member in legal action. The Central Cycle Club and Englishtown Raceway properly staff these positions. Englishtown had 1 person dressed in a fire suit 2 weeks ago to be able to handle a possible fire, the temperature was around 90 degrees, "safety first" at any cost. Adult flaggers must hired to fulfill these positions in order to provide safer racing for all involved
