Getting organized

A multi-headed beast has no direction! I am a veteran of the Yippie movement, (Viet Nam era resistance). We had a great and noble cause (in my opinion) to end the war. We also had a dream of a more perfect society. However, we were "free spirits". This proved to be our downfall. While the Viet Nam war WAS ended, the impetus of the movement was fragmented, for lack of a united front. I see a parallel with the situation that our membership faces now, if we, as concerned members , find the "board" not to be representing our best interests, nor impeachable, then a new leader must step forward or we must create a new organization! Sometimes, those who never saw themselves as leaders, but are thrust into the role, are the best for the job. They are not driven by ego. I am not satisfied that 39 suspensions were over-turned. This was as arbitrary a decision as the original ruling. There are members suspended for LIFE!!! I am not a rider, but I promise you that my son #149y, and I will not participate in, or attend, any NESC events until this situation is resolved. Unity is essential!!!! My E-mail address is real!

STANDING UP FOR WHAT YOU BELEIVE IN IS NOT ALWAYS THE MOST POPULAR THING TO DO BUT IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD INSIDE ITS WORTH IT . THANK YOU FOR STEPPING UP AND SHARING HOW YOU FEEL !!!!
