Where in the World is Gerbil ?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I've been so caught up in work, family and extra activities that I just noticed we haven't seen Gerbil in quite awhile. Anyone seen or heard from her ? I hope she is well !

I think she is just really, really busy, unless something drastic has happened in the last couple days. Jan

Gerbil was here a couple of days ago, got a very funny post from her. You know who else is missing? Green bean man , any one notice any more regulars missing? Hope every one is ok

I noticed greenbeanman has been missing as well. However, when I was surfing the BWH forum about 10 days ago I found a post he'd written that very same day. So he's around, just not here.

There was someone a while back talking about not signing their rreal name/e-mail and I thought it was the greenbeanman by the tone, so maybe he is here but not as the same moniker!

As greenbeanman I appreciate being missed, but it is unlikely that you will see me posting under that moniker again, and not often under this faux one. You see I am the testy one in the Spam thread that was printed without being asked. That's just not for me, sorry. Thanks for missing me, but I do feel like an outsider now rather than family since losing my identity.

I am not sure what your talking about? If your talking about being printed in the magazine then lets look at the other side of the coin, They have a large magazine to fill and this forum has some good things on it.I would hope that if they were going to use something you said they would e mail you a head of time but this is all new to all of us so its a learning process. And with the handle of greenbean man that dosnt narrow things down unless you are tall bumpy and green. We enjoy your knowlege and wisdom [ loved your piece on women] and If somone made you mad tell them, It makes you fell better even if they dont dont say there sorry[ alot of time they dont even know they upset you]Hope you stick around as we would miss you if you left, and I like greenbean man much better then the new on.

Sorry gang, getting back up to steam now. Been super busy, my blood pressure went back up to the attic, and a cat threw up in my computer keyboard, ie everything is normal around here. I've been unable to get that old post about everybody getting together at various people's places out of my mind. Wish you could all come here. I'd just love to show you how to scrape a house! Would be fun if we could ever swing it, even regionally. Look at what Habitat for Humanity can do in a few days. In a weekend we could blow in, paint or roof or fence, whatever, at least have a picnic, maybe the homeowners could show us something like how to pressure can, or quilt, or, again, whatever. Gerbil

Gerbil, even I was getting worried. Glad to hear your back. Mary

Gerbil---I was thinking about you also--got home tonight to have a chance to play catch up & saw the post about ya! I'm so glad ya are ok---When ya said the cat threw up on your key board --I was dyeing laughing--ya know what a warped sense of humor I have --I'm sure it was no fun--but thank you for the "laugh out loud --slap my thigh laugh!"
