HP5+ in HC-110. Times and temps?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

Does anyone have experience with HP5+ in HC-110(B)? The only info I can find is the massive dev chart which suggests 5m @ 20C. I'll use that as a starting point unless anyone has any better information.

I've been using HC 110 (b) But I double the dilution (1:14) and double the time. (10 Min). net look nice. a wonderful printer advised me to do this.

Stuck without reference recently (web access down), I processed HP5+ in HC-110 (B) according to Kodak's instructions for Tri-X. Dense, but excellent: much better than the Rodinal 1:50 negs I tried just afterwards.

Regarding Ilford/Kodak photo materials, I suggest you try they web sites for down-loadable data. They both have a plethora of jpeg files. Also try the "ArtZone" site for independent info....

Carol:

To "double" the dilution of HC110(b)the ratio should be 1:16 (1+15)...
