I am looking for indexes for SF newspapers for the dates of about 1890 to 1920. Cany anyone suggest where I might find some (besides at the public library and the Geneaological Society which I have already located)?

You will find indexes for some of those years (1900-1920, certainly) in the reference area at the San Fracisco State University library. The indexes are on microfiche.

i have some old newspapers from oakland on the bay brige when first open in 1936 and the golgen gate brige when it first open
