On many occasions I have taken my young child to the park and have seen teenagers abusing the park equipment. I have advised them that Mommy and Daddy will have to pay for their actions. We all pay 'dues', but having the equipment destroyed should not come out of my pocket. Please remind YOUR children to respect OUR property. It cost $300 to replace the kiddie tunnel that was burned by teenagers last year.

While we are on the subject of teenagers at the park, I would like to add concern about trash in the play area. This is especially a concern with glass. Please remind the teens that LITTLE KIDS play there. It's dangerous to have broken glass laying around. Of course, most people don't know what their teens are doing anyway...but assume that they visit...at least occasionally.
