Power outages in Evergreen, LittletonNews Staff
Several thousand residents and businesses in Evergreen and Littleton lost power Saturday after two outages.
Public Service Co. crews were called to Evergreen about 11 a.m. after a homeowner in Aspen Park cut down a tree that fell on distribution lines, utility spokesman Mark Salley said.
About 3,000 customers were without power for more than three hours.
About 4,500 customers in Littleton lost power about 10 a.m. when underground cables malfunctioned. Most of the electricity was restored about 1 p.m.
