What Do I Need?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I have an ATI All-In-Wonder-128 video card with Video Capture, Non-Linear Editing (AVI only), VCD Player, etc. and Adaptec Easy-SCSI with the VCD Creator program. The video card can capture in several AVI formats as well as MPEG-1 and MPEG-2. Whenever I try to create a VCD disk using any file format capured with the ATI software, including MPEG-1, Adaptec VCD Creator tells me that the file is not in the Phillips "White Book" format. I have tried setting the custom MPEG capture parameters to what I interpret as valid "white book" settings but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas????

Dana,

go here http://www.members.home.net/richa/ for all the answers you will ever need to your setup....The reason why EZ CD will not acknowleged your mpeg1 clip is because ATI produces the wrong MUX rate during encoding mpeg1. You need IfilmEdit to fix the problem your are having.
